Ladder Assist

What Is a Ladder Assist?

When a homeowner files a claim against their insurance to cover defect or damages to their roof, a Ladder Assist Agent is generally required by the insurance company or insurance adjuster to complete a detailed inspection of the roof to make sure that the claim is not fraudulent.

The inspection is intended to allow the adjuster to make an accurate and fair settlement decision based on the findings of the Ladder Assist Agent.

Our professional, fully trained agents will come prepared with the tools needed to inspect any roof surface, regardless of incline. Our technicians will spend the time required to address of all your concerns, and take detailed notes and photographs of any damage, marking your roof along the way.

This process ensures that your adjuster, or engineer will have all the information required to decide if the roof can be repaired or if it must be replaced.

What the Inspection Includes:

During a ladder assist your technician will climb up to your roof and do a series of checks such as:

  • Estimating the age of the roof

  • Checking for deterioration

  • Checking for leaks

  • Performing a hail test

  • Making note of any previous repairs

  • Marking out any signs of damage

  • Taking photos of the state of the roof and any damages found
